In 2019 a young single mom sat looking through bills, wondering how she was going to be able to take care of her young child. She could have given in to fear and doubt, but she didn’t. Instead, she chose to believe in herself.  So, with her last $300 she founded Starlette Galleria – and just like that, out of the darkness, a new star was born. 

In the spring of 2024 two friends and colleagues, Angela Harris and Tim Lantz, met over coffee.  They were successful corporate executives, but after 3 consecutive years of battling through work adversity, medical issues and personal loss, they were teetering on the edge of burnout.  That day, they decided hidden those hardships was an opportunity for a new beginning.   

Just like that single mom, they decided to be bold and have the courage to bet on themselves – determined to heal and build a brighter future for them, their families and their community. 

A few months later, Tim and Angela founded Tendeza Moda and shortly after that, they came across a promising young jewelry brand for sale.  They liked Starlette Galleria because it was a brand born out of grit and resilience. To them, it represented an opportunity to spread joy and love, to offer light in times of darkness, to commemorate achievements, and to create memories that last a lifetime. 

The name 'Starlette' literally means “a heavenly body visible from Earth”. It's more than just a brand - it's our promise to you. It's a symbol of light, of courage, of hope and of dreams.
